EULOGY TO END SARS PROTESTERS

They may be gone but they are heroes and can never be forgotten. Past few days was really heartbreaking for me , I needed to stay offline to take care of my mental health. Still I couldn’t get my head off how the government turned a peaceful protest into a story of catastrophe.

The fact remains that the people in government murdered the citizens whom they took oath of office to protect. The Lagos state governor blamed the unfortunate incident that happened on 20–10–2020 on “Forces beyond our direct control” A statement I least expected from a sot.

That Nigerian police ,politicians, government hoodlums killed peaceful protesters in many states before the unfortunate Lekki massacre led by the armies. No matter how the government keeps lying about the real picture of what happened on the 20th of October doesn’t change the fact that the world Knows that the government murdererd their citizens, that is a notorious fact. Our leaders should not get comfortable for a second ,there is no victory for them. We will not wait till 2023 before we demand for change and overhaul reform of a system that is killing us.

Our voices will remain loud and clear. No matter the threat or intimidation that our leaders are using to silence us. The law enforcement agencies should understand that their loyalty is to the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria and not to our leaders. Our leaders failed us. The police should understand the need to investigate, arrest , prosecute in the court of law for criminal matters nd not killing citizens.Even their power to prosecute ends at magistrate court. The masses should think beyond religion, tribe, political sentiment in this country.

The End Sars movement is a real one and not for clout chasing. Please let stop making mockery of the protest that we moved fast away from the protest because we can never. Let’s have empathy and not supporting the heinous acts of the government . The government should implement confab2014. This country must be restructured in order to forestall. Sars officers are still on the street despite the disbandment, it is a terrorist organization funded by the state. We are soro soke generation and justice shall prevail. God bless Nigeria.
